A Delegation of US Senators Visit Thich Nhat Hanh
A delegation of nine US Senators visited Thich Nhat Hanh at Tu Hieu temple as part of their official visit to Vietnam. They included Senators Leahy, Murkowski, Stabenow, Whitehouse, Udall, Portman, Baldwin, Hirono, and Kaine. A number of them attended Thay's lectures on Capitol Hill in 2003 and 2011, and have even joined him on retreat. They shared that Thay has taught them what peace is, and how to smile, and how to enjoy every step as they walk to make their votes.
